University of Leeds – Centre for Translation Studies

352px-Leeds_University_logo.svgThe Centre for Translation Studies (CTS) supports the professional practice of translating and interpreting through its research, consultancy and teaching. The national research review (RAE 2008) found that 80% of CTS research (in Computa­tional Linguistics) was “world leading” or “internationally excellent”, with 20% being “recognized internationally”.

Lingenio and the University of Leeds work together on HyghTra—a project which investigates possibilities of rapid construction of hybrid high quality Machine Translation systems by combining rule based and statistical methods. Keep on reading.

Lingenio cooperates closely with the IMS in the context of the special research area 732 Incremental Specification in Context.

University of Heidelberg – Institute for Computational Linguistics

For many years Lingenio has cooperated with the University of Heidelberg and the Institute for Computational Linguistics in the field of teaching. New product developments of Lingenio have been regularly presented and discussed in lectures and seminars.
